Fine Arts Festival Art Drop-Off

Artists may drop off pieces they would like to enter into the 82nd annual Fine Arts Festival, to be held on campus again this year. Categories include acrylic, fiber, mixed media, photography, watercolor, drawing, jewelry, pottery, wood, digital art, pastel, oil, and 3-dimensional art. The deadline for music and literature entries was April 1.

Artists may enter five pieces in each category. The cost is $5 per piece entered. The entry form can be filled out ahead of time and fees paid to expedite the drop-off process for artists: .

Cash prizes will be awarded in each category, plus best first-time entrant, people’s choice, youth artist, and best in show.

Phi Theta Kappa 2026 Induction Ceremony

The Phi Theta Kappa 2026 Induction Ceremony welcomes new members to the international two-year college honors society. The ceremony recognizes new members and celebrates their current and future scholarship.

Fine Arts Festival

The 82nd annual Fine Arts Festival will be held on campus again this year, to celebrate artists and craftspeople in or connected to Rockingham County. The exhibition is free and open to the pubic from April 12-16 in RCC’s Center for Workforce Development.

The Student Awards Ceremony celebrates RCC’s stellar students of 2025-2026.

Job Fair

The Õ¬Äи£ÀûÉç Job Fair is an opportunity for students and the community at-large to meet with employers and job support services in one location to help with their job search. Employers will be on site with a wide range of jobs including those in government, healthcare, manufacturing, retail and others.

RCS Senior Decision Day 2026

Celebrate the future with us!

Rockingham County Schools (RCS) Senior Decision Day will take place on the Õ¬Äи£ÀûÉç campus on April 29.

This milestone event showcases our seniors as they officially confirm their commitments to enrollment, enlistment, employment, or entrepreneurship.

Aligned with our “Choice Ready” initiative, this celebration highlights the diverse successes of students from all traditional high schools, the Early College, and the specialized college pathways at RCC.

Seniors will enjoy a day of networking across schools, engaging in team activities, and celebrating their achievements with food and festivities as they prepare for the next chapter of their lives.

RockATOP Signing Ceremony

The RockATOP Apprentice Signing Ceremony showcases students being accepted into the program.

Local high school juniors and seniors participate in the Rockingham Apprenticeship and Technical Opportunities Program (RockATOP), a collaborative effort among Õ¬Äи£ÀûÉç, Rockingham County Schools, and local business and industry.

Students take RCC classes – with tuition, books and fees covered – and also gain skills as they work as a paid apprentice. Graduates earn an associate degree from RCC and may have the option to transfer those credits to a four-year university to earn a bachelor’s degree once they finish the apprenticeship program. Many students stay on as an employee with the company with which they apprenticed.

Sole Purpose

Ancora Compassionate Care CEO Lynn Flanagan, will walk on a treadmill for 12 hours – to raise funds and awareness about the services Ancora provides. The community is invited to join in. For a $25 donation, individuals may walk on one of the treadmills in honor or memory of a friend or loved one. During the live streamed event, Lynn will have “walking interviews” with community leaders as well as Ancora staff members.
